The Environment Agency has notified us that the publication of the following documents has been delayed:

• Interim Compost Resource Framework
• Interim AD Resource Framework
• RPS 317 (which sets out the two-year transition period for operators to achieve compliance with the tighter plastic limits for compost and digestate required by the RFs), and
• Biomethane Resource Framework

These were originally scheduled for publication on Monday, 4th August. However, due to some last-minute issues that need resolving, the Environment Agency has postponed their release. As a result, we have also decided to postpone our Resource Framework webinars. We will rearrange these and let members know the new details as soon as we can.

We are able to share a preview of the RFs and the accompanying Regulatory Position Statement (RPS) but please note these are DRAFT and there are parts of the CRF and ADRF that we are seeking to change prior to publication.

• Anaerobic digestate: resource framework
• Compost from waste: resource framework
• Using BSI PAS 100 or PAS 110 compliant material outside resource frameworks: RPS 317
• Biomethane from waste: resource framework
